A trading desk for luxury watch dealers
Watch Sphere gives watch dealers live market prices, an order book, inventory, deal chat and an AI assistant in one place, on desktop and mobile.
The challenge
Dealers trade watches worth tens of thousands of euros, yet prices are scattered across chats, spreadsheets and listing sites. Knowing the real market price of a reference, and acting on it fast, takes too many tools.
My approach
I treated watches like a traded asset. Every reference gets a market price range, a bid, an ask and a spread, the same way a trading app shows a stock. Listings, offers and chat sit around that price instead of replacing it.
- Price context on every screen: change %, sparkline, best bid and ask
- Desktop for deep work, mobile for reacting to offers on the go
- Onboarding that explains the market model before the first trade

What I designed and why it works the way it does.
Feature 01
Market home
Latest activity (new offers, triggered price alerts), a watchlist with price change, a market table with sparklines and trending news.
Feature 02
Market and order book
Hot, gainers, losers, new and trending lists. The order book shows every buy and sell order for a reference with best bid, best ask and the spread.
Feature 03
Listing details
A full spec sheet a dealer can trust: caliber, case, bracelet, box and papers, and plain definitions of each condition grade. Similar listings sit below for comparison.
Feature 04
Deals in chat
Buyers and dealers talk next to the watch they are discussing. Make offer and buy now live inside the conversation, so a deal never leaves the thread.
Feature 05
AI assistant
Ask about authenticity, service intervals, references or why a price moved. Answers are short, structured and grounded in the market data.
Feature 06
Onboarding on both platforms
Email verification on web, a short profile setup on mobile, coach marks for the first visit and an empty inventory that points straight to creating a listing.
